Disruptve Studio & vignette invite you to submit one of your existing works to be included in Echoes of Dissent, a group exhibition taking place in New York City from November 13-15.

Echoes of Dissent traces the enduring legacy of South Asian artistic resistance. From revolutionary literature written in defiance of colonial rule to bold visual movements that confront caste hierarchies, patriarchy, authoritarianism, and imperialism, South Asian artists have long transformed creativity into a force for protest.

Today, this legacy lives on through a global diaspora of South Asian artists who continue to challenge contemporary systems of classism, economic domination, and religious intolerance. Echoes of Dissent brings these urgent dialogues to the fore, showcasing works that reflect the multiplicity of struggle and solidarity across borders.

We welcome submissions across a range of creative expressions, including painting, multimedia, fashion, design, sculpture, sound, and digital art. Artists of all nationalities within the South Asian diaspora—including those living overseas, hyphenated South Asians, and cross-cultural collaborators—are strongly encouraged to apply.
